Am I rich or lean?
05 Fatboy, K&N filter, Screamin Eagle slip ons.
I was running a PCIII. Ran good but would intermitently quit. I pulled it and am using a SuperChips Vigiante. The map for my combination is terrible. No throttle response and is a slug.
I tricked it and told it I had shotgun longs and AC filter.
Its OK and runs pretty good but spits and pops on decel. I have been changing maps but its the same.
I snugged up all the pipes so no leaks. Is it popping due to rich or lean?
The plugs look kind of light but they always look like that.
Do I suck it up and let the dealer dyno it with the SERT?

Tuners...chips...superchips are all just complicated series switches. They turn this switch on or that switch off based on signals they receive. If you don't have O2 sensors to send that signal, the tuner is waiting for a signal and doesn't receive it...hence the o2 code.

I bought my Vigilante for the 1/2 price deal last year and installed it in 15 minutes, results are a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Improved throttle, decel pop 99% gone, improved mpg, good starting, no DTC codes. $150 and very happy. 2011 Heritage.
