Dyno tune necessary?
I have a 06 dyna superglide custom. It has the 6 speed tranmission and 88 motor. Its a one of a kind I guess. I have a screaming eagle air filter and the new style screaming eagle slip ons. everything else is stock. I have the SERT and have burned the appropriate Harley Map onto the ecm. My question is how nuch if any willa real goood dyno tune improve this. Is the factory tune on the money?
If we compared the factory exact map to a dyno tune what would be the difference? If any?

Canned maps are an approximation of how the bike should run. You can be assured that the map will be on the lean side to meet the EPA requiremens that the MOCO has to abide by.
A custom map will be tuned to you exact equipment and reiding style.
If you have the time and patience, you can purchase a data system to monitor the A/F ration yourself and modify the SERT map. Absant that, a good dyno tune will be matched to your bike
