Default powervision or t-max auto tune

I am doing a stage1 with cams and i am not sure which tuner to buy..Powervision or t-max auto tune..
Other than price what would be the differances as far as tuning goes..

Tmax has it's place, but a stage 2 build. I would stick with the factory Delphi ECM and a flash base tuner. Timing is much easier when it is map base over it being TPS base. I understand timing doesn't seem to be as big of a consideration as mapping VE's BUT it is.

If you plan of having the bike tuned and no other changes that require a retune, go with PV..

Tmax is nice but as mentioned with either tuner, setting timing is necessary for good performance. Some of the later maps are not as good as the ones done by zippers.. If you have experience tuning motors carbed motors on the street and like to change things. it's a worth while investment... You will loose a couple MPG as the ignition timing is throttle position /RPM based instead of vacuum/RPM.

Had, PV had FP3 , have a ThunderMax now... and forever.
