Default RE: error code

This code sets when ION sense detects a lean condition. This could be for any number of reasons so you should know what to look for AND the best sequence for determining root cause.

1. Check plugs and plug wires. The ION sense function can be disrupted if you are using aftermarket plugs or plug wires.

2. Check for air intake leaks.

2. ALWAYS check fuel pressure.

3. If that doesn't resolve the issue you may want to look at the configuration of the motorcycle, certainly if the code first appeared after a change (air cleaner, exhaust, etc.). If that's the case, you may have a "lean spot" in the map that needs corrected.

Good luck!
