Default 06 RK 25 degree INJECTOR ?

Just picked up my FLHRI today from dealers, after having 25 degree injectors installed.
Dealer said that an upgrade to the computer wasn't needed, and that the job was a
straight swap, 8 degree to the 25 injectors. He said a bike with SE mods would require
an upgrade, but that a pure stock bike, which mine is, didn't need it.
Is he right about this? Seems strange to me, but this is the first injected bike I've owned.

I had my CVO injectors installed on Monday and I have the Stage 1 on my bike and they said no new map was needed as the remap they did with my SERT a couple of weeks ago worked fine with the new injectors. It seems to run good and it fixed my cold start problem. I tried it out yesterday after I got home from work and it fired over and ran on the first try.

Got mine done and let it warm up for less then few minutes and took off with NO problems.. WooHooo!! Now I don't have to worry about wiping out while pulling out of the driveway when cold.

Your dealer is correct. With no other mods the injectors should just get rid of some of the lean running conditions and help with starting as stated above. When you decide to put on a better air cleaner and some pipes it will make it easier to tune with whatever system you decide to go with (PCIII or SERT).

I think these injectors will take care of the lean problem, so
now I'll go ahead and get the stage one, with SERT and dyno work.
I was holding off, because I was sure the bike was running lean, and
was afraid to add more air.
Things are starting to look up.
