Angry push button problems

I have a 74 ironhead xlch, I'm told that when it was stock it was electric and kickstart, somewhere along the line the bike was switched to kickstart only I'm currently trying to put in a new push button switch down by the battery box but I'm drawing a blank at how to tie it all together. I have all the wiring from the soleniod and starter motor to the relay done but just can't see to button it up,no pun intended, anyone got a clue? Jim

You need a power wire to the button and then a wire from the button to the relay, or you can go from the button right to the small stud on the selinoid bypassing the relay.
