I have been studing maps with cams vs stock setups, I have noticed that maps with cam up grades seem to use less fuel in the maps. Is this due to the MAP sensor seeing an increase in air velocity and telling the Ecu to add more fuel to offset a lean condition?

1. MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure (not velocity)
2. at what throttle position and what rpm are you talking about?
3. what tuning maps are you talking about? (super tuner, SERT, PC III, or other?)
