Maybe somebody here can educate me..I downloaded the above diagnostic codes and performed the routine on my '03 Fat Boy..I got absolutely nothing that looks like the above codes..here's what I got instead....

Upon holding down the odometer reset button and turning the switch to Ignition, no full range sweep of the speedometer, or indicator lamps..what I got in the digital display area was: d 01CLr

As I clicked through using the odometer reset button, the "d 01CLR" went to "d 02CLr}, then I clicked again and it went to "d 03CLr", etc, all the way through "d 10CLr"..

After "d 10CLr", when I clicked the odometer reset button again, the readout read "PPU"..

When I clicked again, it went to the mileage that is normally shown there..

I'm assuming the CLr part of the readouts means CLEAR..but when I held the odometer reset button down in excess of 5 seconds, nothing cleared..I tried it several times and got the same thing every time..

Anybody else have this readout sequence?

Well, you speedometer has no fault codes.

Jump 1 & 2 pins in the data link plug. Run switch on and ignition switch on should show codes.

I get a readiing of "nonE" with the E, but when I press a second time I get PN 000000-07 number on every setting through PSSPT...I asume this is normal, but I am wondering why the part number?

Default Wrecked bike wont start speedometer saying tip

My buddy and I were on a trip down Route 66 and he layed over his bike (Gusto of Wind in Texas blew us both off ther road) The bike was towed and 5 days later when I picked it up and got it home I tried to start the bike. I turned the key and lights came on (The ones that were not broken during the wreck) and on the speedometer instead of the mileage it displayed (tip) all in lower case.
The bike would not turn over.

Does anybody know what this error is, and what is needed to get the bike to crank.

Thanks.

1.) usually you'll get this P1009 code if the ECM was replaced and the password learn procedure for the TSM/TSSM and ECM was not followed in the service manual.
2.) does it still come on if you remove the PCV from the system?
3.) does your bike actually start and run?

Default E 1 p error? BAS?

2011 Tri Glide UC. I hit a bump pretty hard tonight on an otherwise flat road and the engine died immediately. It will crank and start for a second, dies, and displays E 1 p on the odometer. Run diags PSSPT and all = none. Could this be a tilt sensor issue on a trike? Ideas? Not a whole lot out there on this code. Not sure if it has a Bank Angle Sensor or where it is located, how to reset it. Toggling ignition from on to off a few times doesn't clear it.

you sure it's saying E1P and not tIP? That small "t" looks like an "e" on the odometer display. Pull your seat off and look at the black box sitting on top front of your ECM. Make sure the BAS is mounted properly and didn't come dislodged with your bump.

Default Yep

as a matter of fact it propably is a t. I went to take the seat off, discovered it was broke clear of the rear mount like someone had yanked on it, the ECM is floating around (not bolted in), there's no module on top of it, but there's a small grey-colored connection next to it not connected to anything. It was dark last night and I had no flashlight. I don't know if this wear and tear or something else since I found my tranny cap loose yesterday too and had lost half a quart of fluid. Thanks for the t1p (pun intended)!
