Harley Diagnostic Codes
Hi,
I did that yesterday and it all worked but today I go to drive the bike and the code: r lo comes up. Do I need to have the dealer reset the ECM ? This was a bike I rebuilt and reinstalled the battery. From what I read the ECM and system or at terry need to be married back up.. Thanks

So, what do you do when you get the codes? I have a slug of them from trying to figure out why my bike won't start after replacing the battery. They are as follows: I did do a Diagnostic code protocol and the following codes were recorded:
P=ECM/ICM Electronic Control Module: P0107, P0108, P0113, P0118, PO120, P0123, P0220, P0222, P1510, P1511, P1512, P2105, P2122, P2127, P2138
S=TSM NONE
SP=SPEEDOMETER: U1064
t=TACHOMETER: U1040
6=I DON'T KNOW... BUT I GOT CODES: C1095, C0562, C1216
I tried to understand the codes, but they are just gibberish to me at this point. Some of them I read off of your list above, but then several that are not on your list of codes... grrr. I could use your insights. I would be grateful for the same. I know I should get this to the dealership, but, I can't even start it! Any help would be useful. Should I erase the codes and try to fire it up again? Thanks and sorry I'm an embarrassed idiot. Curty

My dealer in Concord, NH told me that they will do a #1 download from their data base for a set of Screaming eagle pipes and a A/C.
My question is has anyone out there in Harley land had it done and did it work well ?
2012 Road King
They want $90. for the one time tune.

thanks for the codes it helped me out of course the manual does not give you what you need to find the problem, they want you to buy the electrical trouble shooting manual as well
I have 2004 Road King, my bike left me stranded yesterday, only running on 1 cylinder. I am getting a DTC code P0505 and P1356 which is no combustion in the rear cylinder. Anyone know what the P0505 code is?
Signal and Code P0505 loss of idle speed control, probably from the motor low idle. May go away when you fix the real problem. Would it idle and run if you opened the throttle if you opened the throttle to compensate for dead cylinder? Interesting I do not see that error in my 04 Electrical diagnostic manual for an 04..least for a Softail like mine. It's in my 08 Manual
