Default Automatic primary chain adjuster
I'm looking to put an automatic Chain tensioner on the primary chain of my '75 iron head.
I was wondering if any body had good luck using any specific brand or had bad luck with one. So that I can make a better choice up front.

Hydraulic or mechanical?Made in the USA

I haven't seen or hear one... it isn't so hard to do and if you need to do it freqently your chain is worn out or has been too tight.

J&P sells auto primary and drive chain adjusters for your bike. I doubt that they're made in the U.S. though.

Hayden M6. install on all my bikes, won't use any other.

Hayden makes them, but I don't know if he does for the shovels. I wouldn't see why not.
I use it on my evo. It is working as it is supposed to.

There was a Hayden M6 for a Sportster on Ebay. It might still be listed.
