Default electronic generator regulator

hi guys im new here and i have a question about an old cycle electric regulator. i think the modle number is ce 500. im redoing an old 72 ironhead that has one . the bike needed to be wired and i have completed all but the gen wiring.im lost and cant find any info on these units.its on the end of the gen and has two leds and two lugs, all of them are not marked. i assume that the red led means no charge and the green means it is charging correctly.but the two lugs to be wired im not sure about. i think one must go to b+ and possibly the other to ground? if anyone knows about these i would like to hear from them.also will i need to flash the windings? thanks in advance.

Don't know about the connections on that particular regulator, but you should always flash the field whenever you disconnect a generator.
