oil leaking

Yeah, I have never seen a factory made drive leak but the aftermarket ones certainly can.
I have compared an aftermarket directly to a factory made and cannot tell the difference except I know where each came from.
Like you say, it ain't a lot but it makes a mess. I actually removed mine and screwed in a plug until I could locate an original drive. Ten years ago Harley did not make a replacement, so today would be the same. Go for a used one off a trashed motor.
