OK so i got a 78 and am replacing primary cover. The new cover i bought came from a 80's bike. The cover did not have the needle bearing in it Part # 9063 according to my parts book that cover up to 78 . So i get the part from my local guy and its to big for the 80's cover. So can anyone tell me if there is another part number for the needle bearing for later models Also now am i going to have issue with starter fitment into the new cover. Thought that style of cover fit from 77 and up.

9063 covers 1967to 1980 according to my parts catalogs 99451-78B and 99451-85A.

81-on uses a different starter/solenoid assembly - i do not know how it interfaces to the primary cover. You may not be able to use that cover?
