I picked up a new Alpinista about a week ago. It's a fantastic machine for commuting to work over back roads and freeways—about 14 miles each way. Its size makes it really easy to maneuver in traffic.
It's worth considering if you have the means and want to enjoy some serious torque on your commute.
I'd love to have an Alpinista!.. I haven't ridden one or even seen one yet but from the video reviews and how they're advertised they sure sound fantastic to me also.
Our neighbor bought some sort of electric BMW, looks full size but has small tires. Totally silent so it seems dangerous that nobody can hear it. IDK, certainly not my thing. I don't think the Livewire looks that bad, much better than whatever this BMW is.
