I'm just a guy on the internet. The rumored fix is a newly designed oil pump that balances the high pressure side and the scavenge side.
There's quite a bit more than that on the net, but that's the sum total. Google M8 wet sumping, you'll get as much as me or anybody else knows.

I'm just really interested in seeing exactly what Harley is doing with it. I have a couple of friends with a stage 3 and stage 4 on their CVOS that are having the symptoms that this bulletin addresses. I also have an oil cooled M8 then I'm doing a 120 kit on and I want to make sure that I get the most updated pump available. I believe this Bulletin will give us part numbers that may be more updated than the ones I currently have.

So, I have a question. It does not seem clear to me if it's for CVO 114 with the 117 kit which have a longer stroke. Or is it for all M8 engines. I have a Road King with the Stage III kit and am planing a trip to Florida and Corpus Christi and back home to New Hampshire when the weather cools a bit. My local dealer who did the work knows nothing of this. I've got 2k on my bike, but all on Mountain Roads with only one 50 mile highway trip in 40* weather. I really don't want to be stuck far from home. I usually do 600+ mile days.
