Default 124" M8 Combo

124" S&S cylinder kit, Zippers .472 cam, HMM Stage I.5 Heads
55mm t/body, Bassani 2/1.
Strikes 145 ft/lbs at approx. 2100, and carries it for about 800 rpms, slowly coming down but still manufacturing 130 ft/lbs at 4800.
126 peak hp......so far.

So, what do such a set of modifications cost? And, perhaps more importantly, with only moderate engine flogging how many miles will it run before a rebuild is needed?

I think a lot of people misconstrued the type of people who buy a stock bike vs someone willing to go full built 124" beast that can stand the front end on a bagger to the sun. Those who can afford these motors don't worry about mileage or heat.
This is big boy toys area and not for the average guy who finances a bike or worries about warranties.

Just my 2 cents

I agree. I just built a custom stage 4 (not SE) and will probably go bigger this winter.
