Default Oil pump question

I traded my 16 flrtxs for a 19 flrtxs it’s at the dealer for the 1k service. After reading on here I’m worried about sumping my question is if I went with the s&s camplate and pump would that fix the potential problems or at least till the odds in my favor. Stage 1 only on the bike at this time but wanting to do more. Thank you in advance

I included the S&S Oil Pump and Cam Plate in my current FM124 build thinking it would mitigate my chances of sumping then it was brought to my attention S&S makes no claims about it fixing a sumping problem. From what I have read since, the new HD pump has a seal and is supposed to be the best fix around.

I hope this helps and I welcome other opinions.

I wouldn't. The S&S plate and pump are not a guaranteed fix for sumping. One or two people have actually taken it off and put the OEM back on with the new oil pump backing plate seal.
Best thing you can do to calm any worries is to get a copy of the sumping TSB and check for yourself if you're having a problem... easy enough.
