Default few trip pics from this past week

Sawtooths, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Beartooth, Cody, WY, Salmon River...fantastic riding and all our M8s performed flawlessly the whole trip, just like they have for all of them so far..definite trend going on there..I'm the tall guy of the bunch btw, with the orange RK

Well you went over Beartooth on a much nicer day than I did. Crossed it on the first, two inches of accumulated sleet at the top. This is my third time over the top and I believe my last. It is a nice ride if the weather is good.

we went over it mid week last week and it was cool and refreshing, wore the same mesh riding gear I had on blasting across the West in triple digit temps getting there..my wife was on a separate trip to Sturgis the week before and warned me I better dress warm because they froze their ***** off over Beartooth..what a difference a week made

thanks, those are from my pocket camera, Sony RX100 and it does pretty well..on shorter trips when I have enough room for it I prefer to take my Nikon D610 full frame with 50 mm 1.8...but honestly, the current cell phone cameras these days are amazing..I have a several years old iPhone 6 and it does just ok, but some of the pics I see from folks with newer ones look so good they render taking separate pocket cameras almost obsolete, and most folks don't even realize or utilize the in phone editing features which can vastly improve the pics further

My only regret about the Beartooth is that I did not get any picture of the mess I was stuck in. My wife had a major melt down and I was just concerned with getting us off the mountain safely. Had I known what we were going to encounter I would have turned around and gone to Cody via Chief Joseph's highway.

ugh...wouldn't think in August it'd be something to worry about..Going to The Sun Road in Glacier a couple years ago..Mother Nature in the mountains is a fickle bee och..the trip to MT was hydration vests, get to Logan Pass and it's fogged in and poured on us the way down the east side..muddy and miserable and cold soaking wet no rain gear packed..get to the bottom and sunny and warm....Chief Joseph highway looked like a good one and was recommended to us from locals but we didn't go that route either..rode through an EF 0 tornado 5 years ago going to the PNW Tri State HOG Rally 5 years ago, rain, lightning, 70 mph winds riding sideways for a long time..used rain gear and hydration vest last week..lots of lessons learned the hard way!
