Default Loosen banjo fitting?

Is it possible to just loosen these banjo fittings for the clutch and brake. I would like to rotate the line for both just a little away from the fairing to allow for some adjustment for the levers. I cannot adjust the levers much at all because it causes the lines to hit the fairing. Can the fittings be loosen just enough to rotate the line away from the fairing without there being any leakage or leaks after I tighten up.

When I rotated my bars on my FLTRK, I did this, no problem. VERY carefully. You dont need much, just enough to move it without bending the metal part of the line.

yes you can. crack em loose just a hair so you have to put some pressure on them to rotate.

By the book, no. But as you've seen above here, it can be done. Just keep an eye out for leaks over the next few rides. I did it to mine with a bar install.

Like everyone else, I agree with this. When I did the bars on my RK, I came across a tip suggesting that you use an elastic band from the grip(s) to the lever(s) to apply a little positive pressure on the fluid before loosening the banjo fitting. That might not be necessary, but it made sense to me and worked without a hitch.
