Default Road glide in limp mode

New to the forums. I hope this is the right thread. My 2022 road glide limited has 574 miles on. Riding home today it went into limp mode and the throttle stopped working I might have posted this to another thread also.

Did you hold down the trip button while turning the switch to the on position to check your codes - perhaps a P1511 or something like that?

Yeah do what any reasonable individual would do with a bike that is still in warranty, call your dealer and have them fix it. They should pick it up if you cannot drive it to the dealership.

Had that happen to me back in 2017 with 250 miles on my new Streetglide. It was a wiring plug at the throttle body that was plugged in but not fully seated.

Yes they picked it up. It was a pin on the wiring harness by the plug in the EFI

Thanks for letting us know.
Is that all the detail they gave you? sounds a lot like the problem I had and that was just pushing the plug home at the throttle body ( EFI) as it was not fully seated from the factory. If I had not known the HD mechanic so well that fixed it then I suspect may have received a "vague" answer as well.
The episode taught me that limp mode is almost useless, I was going up a long gentle incline on a 4 laner when it happened to me. I had to stop the bike for fear of lugging my brand new motor with 400 miles on it.
