subscribed, I'm interested to see what you find. also, be sure it's not your compensator ramp that broke, seem to see a few of those lately. are you sure it was on the right side of the bike?

not certain going to definantly check as I heard this mentioned too
Not the compensator so I suppose it’s narrowed to lifter or rods. Not sure what else to check. I wanted to throw a new set of lifters back in and see what happens figure if it’s rods I’m screwed anyway, but had more bad luck and 1 of the tappet cuff bolts sheared on me so working on that now. Bad start with this bike but it has a back story for me so I’ll get it fixed whatever it takes.
Attached is a video of the noise. Just installed fresh lifters obviously it was them. I ran let it warm up for a bit and no luck. Maybe rocker arms but I’m not sure debating if I want to take a stab at it or bring to a shop to diagnose.
Take a wooden broom stick or a wooden dowel or handle of some sort, put it right to your ear and start touching parts of the engine with the other end. Use it as a stethoscope, works very well and it’ll point u in a direction where it could be coming from. Put it on the valve covers to see if it’s coming from there and which one
