Would these need to run bridged on a 600.4?

No need to bridge the AMP to run these. But some others more knowledgable may chime in here.
Arc Moto 600.4 -
4 Channels @ 4 ohms 150 Watts (this would be a good setup for the MLK's)
4 Channels @ 2 ohms 150 Watts
2 Channels @ 4 ohms 300 Watts (Bridged)

Here's what I'm thinking but please help me work through this. I was going to install DD AW 6.5's in the fairing and use the Mille Pro coax I already have in my lower fairing along with DD 6x9 lids. But my painter has botched up my lids twice (custom paint job; not just a solid color) so I think I'm throwing in the towel on the notion of the lids. (I may soon have a set of painted but unused HogTunes lids to sell here!) That being the case I need to squeeze out as much as I can from the fairing speakers. I have a 600.4 amp now but could add another if needed. I currently have Mille pro components that the Legends would replace. I'm just not impressed with the Mille pro's. Would I see a big gain switching to the Legends and apparently never adding lids like I'd planned to do?
IF YOU THINK THESE WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT OVER WHAT I HAVE...ILL TAKE THEM FOR YOUR ASKING BUT PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHT. I have to think these would be higher quality sound and nearly equally loud as the DD's wouldn't they?

John,
I have not personally ran these, but several members here on the forum have and they can give you a more accurate representation of what you are asking.
Maybe some of them will chime in on this..tesnevo, Tailwind, BAL..etc
I have heard them on others bikes and at bike nights from what I have heard its impressive. I do know that they like at least 150W to make them really shine.
the 600.4 does put out decent wattage @ 4ohm and if bridged it just screams
Let me know.

Van, cool! Let's see if anyone else jumps in with info. If you are okay with it, I'd like first dips by say tomorrow after we see if I can hear at least one or two people's opinion. I had planned on buying some DD's from Alex but that was also under the premise that I was going to be running lids with them. Of the reading I've seen, folks have commented that these are of higher quality sound (but maybe not as steaming loud) as the DD's. I think I'd side with more quality since I'm losing the field I was planning to add with the 6x9's.
I'll check this thread frequently here tonight for comments. Thanks!

I think I may have answered my own question here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/audio...-dd-aws-2.html
My take away from that thread is that the AW6.5 offers a bit better bottom end compared to the MLK's, a little more efficient (meaning perhaps I would not need to tie up all 4 channels on my 600.4 for a single pair) and the crossovers on the DD are a bit more manageable in size.
Honestly the largest factor why I really dislike the MPK165's I'm running is that they really suffer to get down to 100hz even properly tuned out with an Arc PSM. Since I'm not going to have the 6x9's I've been trying to plan everything around; the low end is going to be key for the main speakers in the fairing. It sounds like Alex's recommendation for the DD's is likely still going to be the best option. I'm especially tied on power since like so many others; I'm hopefully waiting for the GZ's to become available so I'd like to not tie up all 4 channels on the Arc until I can throw some more power at it while also fitting everything under the hood. With that, I think I'm going to continue waiting for th DD's to come back into stock hopefully soon.
Your price is AWESOME!!! Someone should jump on these now!!!!

200-230 watts would be ideal to this component set. I ran the MLKs on a diamond 800.2 and set the wattage to 225.
