I'm selling my Harley to purchase an Adventure Touring cycle for an upcoming tour ...
Only trades (with my additional cash) is for the following cycles :
2014 + Yamaha Super Tenere ES / Electronic Suspension)
2013+ BMW GS or GSA 1200 Adventure ( and lowered)
2014+ Triumph 1200 Tiger XRA (Explorer ) / Electronic Suspension.

Location: Oaks, PA 19453 is located near Collegeville and Phoenixville, PA ... Or West of central Phila about 35 minutes.
I just returned from a three day / 550 mile trip this week and the bike ran great.

* 1987 Harley Davison FLSTC Softail Heritage Classic,
- I bought the cycle completely rebuilt in 2011.
* 36,000 miles.
* Custom Heritage paint Aqua Sea Green & Silver ,
* 18 inch American 80 spoke wire rims
- New Front Tire and the Rear has plenty of life
* Cycle Lowered 1" with aftermarket rear shock

* Stage 2 (or similar ) upgrade at 32,000 miles.
- S&S Super E carb upgrade,
- Engine .010 over with Wisco 10:1 pistons & Andrews EV-59 cam, (which allows the engine to use the higher rpm)
- engine compression releases added
- rated at 80hp back in 2012.
* Aftermarket exhaust added. Bike has been tuned, jetted for all of the upgrades.Does not backfire, just runs smoothly.

* Front turn signals and fender tip upgraded to LED from Custom Dynamics - very bright.
- Rear fender tip and brake lights upgraded to LED from Custom Dynamics.
- LED Brake light added , plus modified with the modulating brake light.(triple burst and very bright).
- Rear turn signals upgraded to Running / Brake / Turn Signal LEDs - very bright.
* added loud horn (Mini Beast, I believe)
* Floor board extend one inch outward for leg comfort and floorboards added with anti-vibration rubber mounts.
* Engine crash bar / guard
* quick release windshield
* front fork wind deflectors.
* New Battery added last week, added battery maintenance charging plug and added the USB power outlets for my phone.
* quick release rear passenger back rest support with release luggage rack
- quick release hard luggage bags.
- The bike really changes its looks in five minutes by removing the backrest/luggage rack and side racks.
* Mustang touring dual seat.
- I may still have the single mustang touring if I don't sell it this week. I have the original seats also. We can talk about the Solo Seat.
* Bike was inspected beginning of July 2019 with the fluids changed and new tire.

* Cycle Shop in Norristown, PA ( over the last couple years )has completed my full maintenance overhaul, front fork seals, tune up, lubrication, fluids flushed and changed.

** Problem- the left side tank has paint damage and their are paint chips / blemishes consistent with a daily rider / 32 year old cycle. The bike is not a trophy show bike, but blemishes are not so visible at 5 feet.

Curious from heading, does the Bike have a Salvage Title or do you mean rebuilt as in the Bike has been totally gone through ?

 

Wish I had the funds to buy this. Beautiful machine. Could you share why you want to move to an adventure bike?

 

In reply: I can only have one cycle at a time. Looking to move to an Adventure Cycle to navigate on roads, trails, rougher terrain ( that will not beat up a cycle with a fuller suspension) for an extended touring and primitive camping trip with my buddies. The Harley is a completely different and therapeutic ride and if I could own two cycles, I would own a Harley and a Super Tenere or GSA which would satisfy two different riding styles. There are many routes off of the paved road that I would not want to take a clean and polished Harley, but these cycles would allow those experiences of riding where I normally would not ride..

In reply: Title is clean with no title brands. Previous owner had rebuilt /custom painted the cycle with additional components. Rebuilt the engine with upgrades.
