FWIW.....

I rode it to Sturgis in 2024.

It made it to Rapid City, 4 days around Sturgis, then back home to San Diego...

I know it will make the trip....

 

Nice bike, great price. Exactly what I'm looking for, but just not in the cards for now.

Damn, I told you some time back - there is always a beer waiting for you for helping me back when I was working on my bike if you made it out to the Black Hills.
Darn. I'm right by Hill City, now you're going to tell me you stayed in HC. I hope you got all through the Hills. How about those Pig Tails ? Pretty tight on a bagger, or anything for that matter.

 

Gorgeous area... many nice rides that trip... I don't even remember the names of all the places.

It was on a friend's bucket list, he had just beat cancer, and was still a little weak from the Chemo... There was a group of 7 riders. I was his wing man, in case he needed to abort, or otherwise waive off from the group for what ever reason. So I was just a follower on this trip.

The beer itinerary was out of my control...
