Jack bike up tire of the ground and in 6th gear.
Remove spark plugs.
Remove seat and tank.
Remove engine stabilizer bracket bolts, its easer to get front rocker cover off.
Remove rocker covers.
Turn tire/engine until cam is on base circle or tdc when the exhaust valve is closed and the intake starts to open. There's a small sweet spot right there and you can play with the engine rotation and see when one or the other valve is fully closed.
Let's just say the intake valve is fully down, remove that shaft bolt only. You will look in the bolt hole and see the detent is not in place. Use the 11/32 drill bit to align the detent, the rockout bushing will go down 3/4 of its full length with you finger.
I used a rocker cover bolt through the bushing and lightly taped it fully down, of course you need to know your imitations.
Put that rocker shaft bolt back in (forgot to mention used a qtip to clean out the bolt hole) and torqued before turning the engine and going on to the next. Don't turn the engine with any bolts out or loose.
Took about 2 hours.
That is the way I did it, it is not the way the instructions say do it, if you screw it up its on you.
Good luck its well worth the 15 bucks.

Otherwise the job is straight forward, I was able to do mine one at a time, rolled the engine till both valves were closed, took out one bolt, slid the insert in, tapped it down gently with a plastic faced hammer, put the bolt back in and torqued.
ALL 4 of my bolts had very visible witness marks were the shafts had been contacting the bolts.
I didn't get to hear it run, seems I listened to the stereo a bit too much while I was cleaning the bike and installing the new parts.......
