Default Oil Leak From Air Filter

G'day,
This isn't going to be another - why is oil leaking from my air filter etc. - post as I have read back through past posts on this topic but didn't manage to find the exact answer I am after.

I understand how / why excess oil is directed into the air filter but I am wondering if anyone out there has successfully used a product to slow or block that excess oil from entering the air filter without any negative effects on your bikes engine? If blocking the overflow of this excess oil is not recommended I would at least like to slow it because I have recently installed a new clear faced air filter on and in place of seeing my throttle body thru a clean / clear air filter cover; it is being covered in spots of oil and looks crappy!

So, is there any negative effect of blocking the flow of excess oil into an air filter? OR Is there a way to at least slow the flow of excess oil so it is sucked into the engine and combusted as per normal to stop it from building up on the inside of my clear air filter cover?

Cheers for your help.

Not sure what model or year your bike is, but with my 02 Fatboy I put in 2 3/4 quarts of oil instead of 3 1/2 quarts. If I fill it to the full mark on the stick I get oil blow by in my oil filter too.

Short response: put in less oil.
