Never had any heat issues at speed. But get stuck in traffic and now your talking HOT! No air = no cooling. Best thing then is synthetic. ANY synthetic. I didn't believe in it cause I changed it every 2-3 thousand miles in my 97 evo, but after getting stuck in traffic with the 88 and seeing my oil temp peg the gauge, well I knew what woulda happened to dino oil. I'm still thinking about getting a cooler.

The cooler won't help in traffic or parade mode anyway.

Maybe not. but will help cool down faster once you're moving again.
Or...You could do this...cooler
