Default Amsoil Usage Question

I'm gonna make this short and sweet. 2010 Dyna Wide Glide.

Putting Amsoil 20w50 in engine.

Amsoil Severe gear 75w-140 in trans

All they had was Series 2000 20w50 Severe Service Racing Oil. I plan on putting this in the primary. Will this be ok? I was planning on putting the 20w50 motorcycle oil in the primary anyway but they only had enough for the engine.

Thanks for the reply... I know this has been beat to death!!!!!

I just don't want to do any damage.

You might not want to put that in your primary, it may not be good for the clutch. You could just use the MC oil in the primary and sub the one qt of racing oil in the engine. Or just get a qt of HD F+ for the primary, it works great!

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. The engine calls for 2.5 quarts for wet applications, so I will just use the 20w-50 racing oil as the .5 part of that. I will put the 20w50 motorcycle oil in the primary.

I'll be ok mixing the two in the engine right?

Thanks again for the response.

I'm about to change the oil, just double checking that it will be ok to mix the .5 of racing oil with the motorcycle oil.

Thanks
