anybody going june 2nd / saturday

 

We have 20 to 30 bikes leaving the Hi Dez on Sat.. Don't know if we're going to stay the night or not. As for the show, $10 for close in parking, $10 to get in, a pat down search and $6 for a beer. We might just go to Chad's

 

hope they have the parking at the bottom of the hill again for free and the shuttle up the hill the 10 to get in is ok then ride back down to town for beer.

Pioneertown/ Yucca Valley area

 

I'll be heading down on Fri night and staying till Sun AM.

 

10 - 15 bikes heading up there for the day (Saturday) - All gathering at Anglus Oaks on Hwy (SR) 38 around 10:30A

 

Wow! It was nice up there! Weather was perfect... 80ish. Nice roads, beautiful scenery. More people and vendors than I expected. Kind of wished I spent the whole weekend there instead of just one day.

 

We all had a great time and were surprised at the number of people and vendors... Vance & Hines.. PM... and whole slew of others... We had 8 bikes go up and four come back... The rest of our group had rooms and were gonna hit up Chad's. They announced the had 17K come thru the gate...up from 10K last year. Would definately go back...

 

It was a great day intill we were leaving. As we went past Baldwin Lake we came upon a biker down. He was semi conscious but nothing appeared broken. I'm a former Navy Corpsman so I did the first aid stuff while my brothers controlled traffic intill the CHP, SO, FD folks arrived. I hope it ended on a good note. If you folks have any info, let me know how it turned out for this brother.
