Just completed the Nevada's Dept. of Public Safety Motorcycle Safety Program class.
It is offered through CCSN, now just called CSN(College of Southern Nevada). Registration in $100, but they currently have a two month wait.
I HIGHLY recommend the class. They have a beginner's and experienced course. Great to brush up on skills, learn things you never knew AND get an insurance discount!
Others like the HD dealeship charge around $350! Well worth it.

Nice!
Have heard of the place but never been there. Just thought they sold guns and you can fire a machine gun.
I take it concealed weapons can be worn while riding.,,,,

Yep - if you possess a blue card in Clark County and have a valid CCW card.

I have a blue card but still want to take a CCW course. If you have to take a course for concealed carry can you strap one on your hip?

you can carry one on the outside of your clothes with just a blue card. HOWEVER, North Las Vegas does nto allow you to open carry. If you get your concealed weapons permit you can carry concealed in NLV though. I carry all day everyday. no matter if it is to a movie or to wal mart at mid night.

You need to go get fingerprinted off Russel road, and then call up a shop thaty does CCW classes. i recommend going to American Shooter. They have a great class and the instructor is great.

You can't carry in Boulder.

has anyone taken the motorcycle driving test in nevada recently? I'm ashamed to admit but been driving throughout this great country and have never bothered to get a proper license. I'm just curious on what to expect when I go down to take it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. btw I took the written part 11 months ago!

Shame on you! If you got caught doing that here in Kali, your bike is impounded and you "may not"get it back.
