Hey turdle, took your advice and made the detour up into Hell's Canyon and into Baker City. \\; A LOVELY ride...thank you VERY much. \\; That's why I post here, to get the "local's" take on what you might not easily find on the map!
 \\;
Ran home Sunday, 16.5 hours and 987 miles from Corvallis to Vegas. \\; Does that qualify me for iron butt?
 \\;Your very welcome, I'm not exactly a local to that area, but have logged a couple thousand miles around there. Some of the best riding, with very little traffic, It don't get much better.
 \\;
Some roads that demanded a lot of attention, but a lot of nice open riding too. \\; Highly recommended. \\; We rolled through there just before sunset. \\; Beautiful scenery. \\; Bambi and the entire family were headed to the water's edge to drink (as they so often do that time of day) so we rode very attentively!!!
