Anyone going to the Runamucca Rally?

Wife and I are planning on going down from SE Washington to Winnamucca, Nevada on Friday the 26th May and Return on the 29th May.

 

Yeah im thinkin we'll go. glad you posted this as i didn't realize it was comming up so soon. Im in truckee (lake tahoe area) so its not a long ride for us. id better look into lodging for sat night. Perhaps we could hook up fer a cold 1.

 

That would be cool! I have family that live there so we will be staying with them.

 

It looks like rain and thunderstorms again this year. It won't stop me, I'm only about 2 hours away.

 

Yep thats what im hearing, up here in truckee its quite nippy today, supposed to get rain/snow tonight and be butt cold tommorow... Whatever we leave in the morning regardless.

Hey yellotang wass up? Bummer you cant make the run this year, or has that changed ? Yeah im also frustrated by the ever returning winterlike weather, seems like i only get three seasons, july, august, and winter! I hope to be moving off this frozen hell, err i mean hill in about a year. The southwest sounds nice. later dude, If you dont make this run hope ya get some other ridin in.

 

Ya, I was really looking forward to this run. Maybe next year. I get to ride in a cage for 4 hours today with 3 other people, with me in the back seat. Aggggg.

 

I was about to leave for the run when a buddy called to tell me about the inch of snow on his deck. He's on the way to the run, and it only looked worse in that direction. Since I didn't go with the Screamin Eagle heated tires option, I'll have to pass this year. This is the third year in a row we've had snow in late May, that gets old really quick.

 

Now I am glad I didn't go.
