Default Can bike pricing be discussed here ?

Are we allowed to talk pricing of new bikes on this forum.

I ask because I don't see any or couldn't easily find threads on pricing. And a watch forum I used to read didn't allow pricing discussions.

Sure. Why not?

My bike (Pan Am Special) was £15.5K base price UK pounds. ARH and spoked wheel options added another £1K. Then all the other options (Hard cases, mounting frames, SE exhaust and extreme air filter, big skid plate, radiator guard, short smoked screen, tank pads, plus some stuff I have probably forgotten pushed it up to £19.2K.

Equivalent to $26,2980 today. This was out the door with our 20% sales tax included.

Yeah. We pay more here....

21.8k OTD Since that included tax + shipping, I think its under list for a Special. I don't have ARH but I do have spoked wheels and grey paint which are extra. As with any new vehicle you get better prices by financing because dealer gets a kickback on that. If you have cash, you can always pay off the loan when the first payment is due.

Harley don't own this site and can't stop people from talking about prices of anything.

If you are willing to share, when (month) did you buy your bike ?

Also how tall are you, just trying to get a feel for seat height. Are you happy with your decision to go without the adjustable ride height ?

Last month. I'm tall enough that the ARH wasn't needed but I would have bought it if available. Understand I had to drive a couple hours just to find one so I couldn't be picky. I found a special in the color I liked so I went for it. Its likely I would have bought ARH if I found a bike with that.

Trying to say I didn't really have options, If I didn't buy that bike last month, its possible I still wouldn't have one. They don't grow on trees in FL.

That's a damn good price. I'm gonna be out the door for $23,500 for a Black Special with ARH and cast wheels. Creamsicles are in abundant supply at dealers, but other colors are hard to come by around here.

Thats good for ARH bike I think. Also my OTD price includes cheap FL tag & title -- I would be quite a bit more in high tax states.

I bought mine from Coast HD in Biloxi. It's a Special with the ARH. Out the door price was $23,135. That included the 6% Fl sales tax where I am located, NWFL.

I absolutely need the ARH, 5'6" with a 30" inseam, and I can get both ***** of my feet on the ground.

Preorder here. Paid $21,849 for the bike (loaded Creamsicle), $390 for freight, $550 for prep. $22,689, plus 15% off parts, which totaled another $3679. Taxes and tags brought the total to $28,479.

As I've said elsewhere, if your plans are to use this bike mostly as a tall sport/tourer (which it excels at), save yourself the cake and get a Special with ARH and cast wheels, get the Sport Luggage, and get the Aux lights. You'll be on the road for substantially less.
