Fix for Cardo Packtalk dropping audio

I think it’s a new base plate. It’s the magnetic one now.
There was so much I didn’t like about the old model so I returned it but the new Edge has been rock solid, has over the air updates and switches between helmets so easily. USB C too. When Apple adds waypoints to maps in iOS 16 it will be all I need for comms, music and nav.

This is the fix to Cardo music skipping/dropping
I found this on an unrelated website. The solution is for Android phones but I'm sure iPhones have something similar. I have been using the fix for over an hour and not one drop, before this it would do it every 10 seconds. I can't believe that Cardo support isn't telling people this.
To enable developer options pull down notification shade and click on the gear to get to settings. Scroll down and choose About phone Scroll down to the bottom and click on Build number 7 or 8 times quickly until you see a message that says you are now a developer. To enable developer options pull down notification shade and click on the gear to get to settings. To change AVRCP settings go back to settings and choose System. Scroll down to the bottom and choose Advanced then Developer Options Scroll about 1/2 way down in developer options and find Bluetooth AVRCP Version and change it to 1.3 then exit settings and reboot phone.
