They only had one each at Gruene HD and one at Teddy Ruxpin Cowboy HD and they sold the day they arrived at MSRP. I'd say selling well.

Anyone remember when the new C8 corvettes were being preordered for many many thousands over msrp? The people ordering them weren't bitching and moaning, because they wanted one, and were willing to pay the price. Same with bikes. I don't fault a dealer for charging more than list. If you don't want to pay simply walk away.

Buy it you can flip it and make some cash on it. They have left overs from 22 still on dealer floors. Shop some where else.

Exactly the point. I'd buy it in a New York Minute at $16K, cash in hand, and dance Snoopy's happy dance at that price. You wouldn't touch it at $16k. So what's the actual "market value"? Who cares what the market value is, it's meaningless. The only thing that matters is what a willing buyer and a willing seller are able to agree upon, right now.

That is how markets work. Anyone who thinks otherwise should spend five minutes at a street market in Mexico, or Thailand, or India; they'd learn a hell of a lot more than any Harvard college classroom would teach 'em.

Beautiful bike, nicely equipped, but there's NO WAY I would take a bike that expensive off of the asphalt; BMWs (1250GSA) the same. I guess I have more respect for my money than that................or maybe I realize that I suck at riding in the dirt
