I just bought a 55 engine, getting ready to build a cool bike.

 

55 is the first year they went to a timkin style bearing work well as stock engine with like an A2 Andrews cam solids or hyd but solids works best

what direction you taking some in the shop right now not all and some knuckles some shovels as well as shovel headed pans

the pan on the table is a stock style 54 - the evo front fork knuckle is a resto type mod - the 41 knuck on the lift is in the bobber style and the shovel bobber is how much money can you spend idea

 

I'll probably go bobber style. I'd like to make it look original, but, since I only have a motor, it would probably cost 20,000 or more to find original parts. First, I ha e to get some head work done, then as I put it together, I'll start figuring out where I want to go with it.
