Some folks may not like the plastic cable cover but it was a genuine accessory. 95 cents for 84"!

Well that made me laugh, I will attach a photo of the 58 Pan I bought a few years back, look closely at this pic and you will notice that the original owner had installed a chrome color covering just like in this very first pic of the 65 Pan, when I say closely I mean look closely, this guy had that chrome coiled plastic covering EVERYWHERE, even the wires down low, the wires that went under the gas tank, the brake sensor wiring under the left side that you normally can't even see unless you bend down, the rear tail light wiring that is exposed, it was everywhere and took hours to get every piece off and not to mention it actually was a pain in the *** to get off.

Chrome wrap is definitely a 70's thing. I like it, put it on my chopper, lol.

Red/white...blue/white...black/white...green/white have 1955 part numbers. Chrome has 1957 part number.

My 62 FL was covered in the stuff too, took a while to unwind it all off the wiring and cables.

Mc kee came from Greenwich village early 50s lived in Travis - willowbrook road and Gifford lane now jersey since 73
