My son serving in Afghanistan had one of his troops commit suicide yesterday. The young man, his family, friends and my son need your prayers. These folks go through some real crap. My son and I both have someone who commited suicide before. People don't know the scars and guilt left behind. My son sent only a one sentence note to us so don't know alot of details.
I don't know about the boy who died, but my son is due to come home next month. He has been over there for over a year now. I'm due to go to a different crap hole next week so, I won't be able to see him when he first gets back. I only go for about 90 days though. I hope to see him later this summer.
I'll ask also that you say a prayer for all those serving this nation both here and overseas. I have another son who is a emt technician.
Thanks, Bob
From: South of Raleigh, and west of the coast, NC.
Prayers sent for the troops serving this country and for their families here....May the Lord God Almighty keep you safe and may he comfort you in time of need.
I didn't mean that I wasn't already praying for all our folks serving this nation both here and overseas. I especially pray for those that are in harms way. I thank you for your prayers. I'm just glad to see that the people of this nation are supporting those that are serving. I was active duty just after Vietnam. I wasn't real popular. I cannot imagine the hurt and anger of those that were in and served in that one. We as a nation crapped on them. I'm just still glad that I can serve the war effort as a civilian. Because so many have given so much for us. Thanks again, Bob
My Heartfelt prayers go out to that soldier and his family.
To your son and all the serviceman here and abroad.
My son is also starting his secound tour in Iraq and may God Protect
and keep them all safe from harm.Ahem
