Depends on where you live and where you want to go. I prefer the cooler weather, but spring and fall weather can change quickly. We had to change plans for our plans late last March due to a late snow storm.

July and Aug longer days the sun stays up longer and you can travel much further......went on a trip last weekend left fri in a mist and 47 deg.....ran right out of daylight 150 miles of the place I wanted to be and I really hate riding in the dark...no reason for it....(unless its in town) IMO.....
