Alaska
OK it takes time to plan and save the coin. If you have a old lady that spends you may need to send her down the road. Your priority is the road trip. Old lady's can be replaced on the road or when you get home.
I left Arizona and road to Alaska, some where in the neighborhood of 3,600 Plus miles one way.
I ride a HD. NO BIG DEAL. I met people with bikes made from country's all over the world.
A Brother or Sister on a motorcycle is just that, A Brother and a Sister.
Be safe, get out and do one hell of a ride.

Scratched the Alaska trip off of my bucket list back in 2000.
Rode all the way up but "cheated" a bit on the way back by riding the ferry from Haines, AK down to Bellingham, WA.
Glad I did. I had a blast on the ferry and got to see some little towns on the Inner Passage.
If you go, be sure that you have plenty of time and money.

I don't think that's a cheat...in fact, maybe you would have cheated yourself not to have taken the ferry.
If I ever have the time, I would ride up and ferry back...but for me it would be...what? 4000 miles on the outbound leg?
