I got some great suggestions on my thread about the Grand Canyon. We are going thru Colorado on our way back home. I would like ideas on rides and attractions.

Try the pot, some say its good ****.

 

The Million Dollar HWY from Durango to Silverton. Take it all the way up to Montrose and head east on 50.

 

Pikes Peak.

 

Million Dollar Highway, Durango to Montrose. Wolf Creek Pass, Durango to South Fork. Silver Thread, South Fork to Gunnison. Gunnison to Salida, Salida to Colorado Springs via Royal Gorge and Canyon City. If you go to Colorado Springs take a side trip to Pikes' Peak.

119 out of Blackhawk turns into 72, lunch in Nederland then on to Estes Park... gorgeous run and fun road.

 

I second what Dockile said about Black Hawk to Estes Park. We like to take hwy 6 from Golden, Colorado up to Estes Park. Once you get to Estes Park ride the Trail Ridge Parkway.

 

Been all over Colorado....this route is one of the best....coming back from Utah...go through Monument Valley....WOW....
