just finished a road trip down to Playa Azul, entered at nogales, rode for 10 days, great ride no problems what so ever. so don't be misled by other posts

 

The missing one's?? HA Just kidding.. I like Mexico but too old to want to drive...I fly and ride the 12 peso bus or a RollFast. Post some pictures. Know where Nogales is. Just where is Playa Azul?? I thought it was on Cozumel. Did you mean Azul. Playa translated mean opening to the beach I think.

 

Riding solo in Mexico is like playing a craps table, some get lucky and some don't. It's always a gamble down there.

 

It would seem like the ones that had problems across the border are not here to post about their trip. ☠ï¸�☠ï¸� just saying

But glad you had a great, and safe trip. I often travel to Mexico on business and love the country, but probably know too much about it to attempt a solo ride..

 

So exactly which Playa Azul did you ride to? There are hundreds of them in Mexico. Playa Azul refers to a beach area. We are currently in Playa Del Carmen wintering and there is Playa Azul here. It is a resort spot on the beach.
I agree with TwiZted Biker and Bradn. You take your life in your own hands even thinking about driving here. In a car would be bad enough and getting on a Harley would be insane.
For most of them their stop signs are not even suggestions, they frankly don't exist.

 

Actually, just found out, imbulhman just got a little confused after crossing the Canada border. He is talking about the bar Azul on East Chatham in Chicago. He truly would have been safer in Mexico.
