It was only 33° today, cloudy with a slight breeze, but I decided to go out and test out the heated jacket liner, which did great. I only logged 90 miles, down the Rock River mostly. This is one of my go to routes, which is going to be messed up with road construction for a few months, starting tomorrow.

A weird thing happened as a result of this ride. Last year on April Fools Day I had 3194 miles on the bike, and as of today, April Fools Day, I have 3194 miles on the bike this season as well. No joke. I was a bit freaked out by this, I mean what are the odds?

I didn't get any pics from today's ride.

Great thread! I love the ride up through Savanna to Galena! Often cross to Dubuque and back down the Iowa side!

Looks like it'll be awhile before I get some more wind therapy. Woke up to snow covered ground and ice covered roads......which means the salt trucks were out in force.

Snow on the ground by me too. Don't know when I'll ride again.

You got more than we did, just a dusting here, no salt, thank goodness, though I'm stuck inside doing tax returns.

Did my taxes too, never a good time. More snow, then rain......for days. Oh, well at least the rain will wash the salt away.

I've got 20 or 30 returns to go.

Woke up to an inch of snow on the ground today and it's sticking on the roads. I just hope they don't salt them again. Still coming down too.....

We're under the gun for 4+ inches of snow this weekend. Who did we anger?
