Left work at noon, hit the road, south bound. It was 42° and kind of sunny, so I said screw it. It did cloud up, after a bit, but it got up to 52° so it wasn't all bad. As I started for home the wind picked up, and it was mostly from my right side (east). It's supposed to snow tonight, so I may not see the bike again for awhile.
273.2 miles.

Jeff, don't know where you found those temps, didn't get north of 40° by me, though I picked up the bike and rode for a while.
South of Princeton it hit the 50's. I saw 52° for quite awhile. A year ago today I took a half day at work and went for a ride, in a tank top. It was in the low 70's then.

Yesterday I was driving through blizzard like conditions, 30 miles south west of here. Today I was out testing out my new heated H-D jacket liner, which I bought yesterday.
Road over to Woodstock.
It was a short ride, but a good test for the liner. It was 40° with a 15 mph crosswind. I was toasty.

One of my favorite Eagles songs ever! Looked like a good ride yesterday! You've got a beautiful bike man!
Today was Half Throttle Thursday.......I took a half day. I rode over to Savanna, then through Galena, then up into Wisconsin for some back road goodness.
Here are a few pics, from the Mississippi Palisades State Park.
If you don't stop and look back at your bike, you have the wrong bike.
The New bridge now stands alone.
There appears to be a fire.
That's a good half day. Sure beat working.

Good Rideday was a success. Rode for 8 hours.
Headed south to Peoria and saw snow in the ditches. Walter Brothers Harley Davidson was having a demo day.
