True that. I did have an OS moment once out in the middle of nowhere, and realized I was low on fuel. Stopped at a farm just hoping to get directions to the nearest fuel station. The gentleman had fuel on site, instead of a gallon or so like I offered to buy, he just filled it up and refused payment.
Damn nice guy.

Lo came on and we went a bit before we hit an exit with a station. We exited, pulled in, no gas!
I think I put in 5.8 gallons just down the road a bit....like 10 miles.
I was worried as hell.
There are a lot of lonely no fuel stretches out here in Colorado. I know most of them and plan ahead for those, but every once in a while a curve ball gets thrown at me.
Yesterday we headed home. It was another great weather day. The risds home were scenic. I once again a voided as much of the busy roads as possible. We did go through Oshkosh, but we went through off the beaten path.
We stopped at one last dealership, in Oconomowoc. I just needed to stretch, the wife needed a shirt..needed.
We stopped at Knuckleheads in Eagle Wisconsin for a bite to eat. Food was good, service was good, and the place was packed with bikers....go figure.
From there it was a out 100 miled until home. We did take the scenic route home yesterday which added about 50 miles to our day....it was worth it.
Here are some pics....we didnt get many yesterday.
A beautiful morning on Lake Superior. Ready or not, its homeward bound. Last HD stop. Home. We traveled 3,525.9 miles. No issues with the bike, or each other...lol.
