Default Missouri

I will be in Eureka Springs for our destination, but wondering what to hit on the way home through Missouri. I am thinking of going through Osage Beach and then start going northwest. Are there any certain roads or famous bars I need to see? Any fun little towns to stay the night and enjoy the night life? Not into the big city scene. Thank you

I understand you do not like Big Cities, BUT

Kansas City, Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que in the gas station was unbelievable

St Louis, the Arch is well worth a stop and going to the top. Very, very impressive, even if you do not stay in town. Though I will say we stayed one night, parked the bike at hotel indoor parking garage and walked the downtown area. They were having a Soccer match in the baseball stadium, party over flowing into the entire area. We had a great time. Just something to think about.

We get down to the Lake of the Ozarks once or twice a year for weekend stays with some friends who have a house on the lake. Plenty to do in that area for sure. There's a lot happening on Bagnall Dam Blvd not far off of US-54 but the area can get congested.
Other than that we've been down a couple times recently just for some riding since ABATE got the mandatory helmet law eliminated. The capital building is not far from Osage Beach area in Jefferson City. Kirksville might be a fun town but we didn't do a lot of partying when we were down there.

Head toward Yellville, AR then take AR125 north to the Peel Ferry across Bull Shoals Lake. The ferry is free. Continue on MO125 north as far as you care to go. It ends near Springfield. Really nice ride!

You could work your way east for Osage Beach. Take MO125 to Bradleyville, MO76 to Ava, then MO5 north to US54 and Osage Beach.

On the ferry - better when it's not raining.

Yes, planning on stopping in Osage Beach on the way home. Very nice route I heard Osage Beach is quite expensive, but we might just have to get a room there to check the place out.
