I am leaving Tuesday morning from Turlock CA to meet http://rftw.org/ I will be in DC from May 27 thu May 5. After 10 days with RFTW group - My plans 'now' are to watch the rolling thunder - Much prefer to watch the parade of that size than beat up my 'only return home ride' lol..
See ya there - I will be the guy on a black bagger with white hair...lol
I (with my good Lady) was priviledged to be able to take part in 'Rolling Thunder 2009'. It was awesome and I spent the weekend with many US Forces Vets from around Milwaukee. Did the Parade on the FLHTCUI we had rented out of Tampa FL and went on afterwards through Virginia - Smokeys and back to Tampa. Had a great time and enjoyed visiting the Various Monuments and Changing of the Guard at Arlington.
Have a Great RFTW and Rolling Thunder 2010 - Cheers and Hand Salute to all Vets/Ex Service Persons
You might want to check (Run For The Wall), I have been making the run for two years and every time i gain a little more respect and grattitude for the Vets, there are many locations to join the run on the website.

Last time I was there was in 94 and I took my nephew to a pig roast where he enjoyed an anatomy lesson and learning what bartering with beads is all about. I tried going back in 95 but broke down about 25 miles north of DC.
We are leaving out early Saturday morning and spending 2 nights at the Embassay Suites in Tysons Corner. Proudly showin the submarine dolphins, POW/MIA, and American flags for the ride through DC on Sunday afternoon. Be spending some quite [and respectful...] time at The Wall on Saturday evening.
