Just Got Back!
We just got back from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. WOW.... It was Awsome. The ride was spectacular. My Wife (Sophie) & I left Saturday at 3:00 drove through Zion National Park, to a bed & breakfast in Kanab. Met up with some freinds from Overton Nevada, for a good dinner & catching up on old times. This morning we left Kanab @ 9:00 & drove out the the North Rim, What a ride through the pines & some high mountain meadows at about 8900 above sea level. After a couple of short hikes, pause for a pic. We grabed a Coke & then hit the road back home. We clocked round trip 365 miles. That gives my Pearl (Road King Classic) a total of 955 miles.
P.S. I hope the pics attach (me & my wife on the left & Overton freind on the right)

that sounds like a heck of a time. last year about this time me and the wife and kid went out to california from here(TX), and we took the scenic rout and went to the canyon(south rim). only we were in the expedition. i would love to be able to make the trip on the bike next time. we also wanna do the canyon bottom tour, on raft. well me and my father in law and brother in law are planning a trip to palo duro canyon in amarillo this summer after my brother in law finishes restoring a 79 hondo cb 750(i dont know why) although it wont be as grand it should still be fun.
Reddawg, sounds like an awesome ride. Thanks for the pics. Sounds like your getting ready to get some service done and then be back on the road. Keep that camera with you.
