POI's along I-94?

POI's along I-94?
This July I'm planning on heading north and west and I'm looking for those must see and do things along my planned route.
I'm starting out in SW Indiana and heading toward St. Louis. From there I'm taking the Great River Road north ending up in Minneapolis to visit with a friend. From there I'm heading to Fargo, ND and generally across I-94 to Yellowstone to meet up with another friend to spend a couple of days touring the park.
From Yellowstone, the two of us are heading south towards St. Lake City area and ultimately end up around Reno NV where he will take off back home to the SF Bay Area and I'll head back via Denver, then home. US 50 is definitely on the list as is Little Big Horn.
If anyone knows of POI's along the way, I'd appreciate hearing about them. ...Thanks
