Planning on riding my Ultra to Alaska in late June early July from Pa. Looking for advise from anyone that has made the trip. I have read alot about flat tires. Should I take a tent in the event that I can't find a room? Any good tips from others that have made the trip.
I haven't done that trip on a bike.. but I have done it in a truck... we took the Milepost and it was invaluable... BUT - man that's one BIG, HEAVY, book... I'd really have to think it over whether or not I would take it if I was on a bike...

I agree. That's why I posted the link for the online access to the Milepost.You can print out your route map from the Highway Info link and a itinerary from the Travel Directory. But either way, it sure is a good tool for planing the trip though Canada.
Don't for get your Pass Port and or Card. Also the Yellow insurance card issued from your insurance carrier.
